Robin Fulton


Robin Fulton NEW 2Robin graduated from Edinburgh University in 1977 with a Law Degree after which he began his legal career with Shepherd & Wedderburn becoming a partner there in 1982. He left that firm in 1999 to join Turcan Connell as a partner. He retired from full time practice in June 2016.

 He was accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in Trust and Charity Law and during his career held a number of positions including the Scottish Editor of Sergeant & Sims on Stamp Duties and Fosters on Inheritance Tax. He was also a member of the Law Society Revenue Committee, Senior Tutor in the Diploma in Legal Studies course, Wills Trusts and Executries at Edinburgh University and a Trustee of the WS Annuitants Fund.

 Robin was on the Board of Tcam Asset Management Ltd and The Edinburgh Beer Factory and continues as a Director of Dawyck Estates Ltd and a Trustee of the Baxters Food Group Pension Scheme.

 Robin was a Trustee of The Volant Trust, The Sportsman’s Charity Ltd, The Onward Trust and The Mainhouse Charitable Trust. He continues to be a Trustee of the Castansa Trust and The PawPrint Charitable Trust.

 Robin lives in Edinburgh and is married to Carol. He has 2 children Livi and Paddy, who is married to Louise, and a grandson James. His main interests are travel, golf and generally keeping fit.
