Greig firmly believes in ‘learning by doing’ and has a calm and methodical manner, which extends to his work with people. He genuinely wants to help people develop, realise their potential and be the best that they can be.
He grew up in Glenrothes before moving to Edinburgh to study BSc Estate Management. After many years in a more corporate environment, he decided to change his career to begin working with young people and adults in an outdoor education setting.
Greig is certainly not afraid of ‘a challenge’, in-fact he positively thrives on it. He has developed a real passion for the outdoors and has a vast range of outdoor skills. Having worked in outdoor education centres in the South East of England and the West Coast of Scotland, he has gained significant experience of working as a facilitator of personal development programs for a diverse range of groups, such as; Schools & Colleges, Youth groups & Special Needs, Disability groups & the Army.
It is this journey which has brought him to Columba 1400 on the Isle of Skye and allowed him to explore more about leadership.
