Liam Stewart

 Liam Head of Partnerships

Liam's role focuses on creating partnerships which help develop young people and the key adults in their lives, having initially joined us on secondment as Education Advisor from Castlebrae Community High School in Edinburgh. His previous roles include Pupil Support Leader at Castlebrae CHS where he supported and offered guidance to young people, as well as PE Teacher at Craigmount High School, having graduated from the University of Edinburgh as a PE Teacher in 2014.  Liam is a firm believer in the Columba 1400 experience as he has seen first-hand the impact participating in an Academy can have. Liam attributes a lot of his leadership development to him participating in a Columba 1400 Leadership Academy and is very proud to be a twice graduate. Liam was involved with Columba 1400 as both a participant and facilitator prior to joining the Columba 1400 team.

Liam is a huge Hibs fan and has had a season ticket for as long as he can remember. Other than his wedding day (obviously) his most memorable day has to be when Hibs finally ended their Scottish Cup hoodoo by beating Rangers in the process. Liam loves travelling and has spent time living in New Zealand as a snowboard instructor and he hopes to return there on holiday one day. Liam lives in Edinburgh with his wife Louise and his daughter Emilia, where they spend most of their time at the beach.
