Head of Programmes

Mark was appointed Head of programmes in March of 2011 following 5 years of developing the role of Programme Manager for Columba 1400's Young Peoples Leadership Academy.

A licensed NLP practitioner and Coach, Mark brings over a decade of experience of working with both Young People and Adults from Tough Backgrounds.

Mark first experienced Columba 1400 back in 2003 when he was working with Young People in Local Authority Care. "The leadership programme stopped me in my tracks, it was eye opening and inspiring to see how the young people and staff responded to the intense programme and the positive impact it had on them and their communities on their return".

Mark felt privileged to be approached by Columba 1400 in 2005 for the Programme mangers role and 5 years on was delighted to be appointed Head of Programmes.

With a strong belief that we all have everything we need within us to fulfil our purpose and reach our potential, Mark continues to bring his passion and energy to everyone who crosses the Columba 1400 threshold.

A keen musician with a passion for Blues music, Mark still manages to find the time to perform with bands throughout the year.

Mark is married to Laura and has 2 boys, Kristopher and Joshua.
