Robert Henderson

Robert Henderson is a chartered Psychologist with extensive experience in Executive/ Leadership Development and Education, Succession Management and Organisation Development within large multinational companies. He has worked in retail, manufacturing and electronics industries as well as positions within a business school and a number of universities. In his last corporate position Robert was Vice President of Leadership and Organisation Effectiveness for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region for Motorola Inc. In a number of senior corporate roles Robert has worked closely with line management in developing ‘talent’ initiatives and driving organisational performance and improvement. He has also worked as internal coach and counsel to senior executives and executive teams in Europe and USA.
After a brief spell teaching Psychology at Dundee University Robert joined Strathclyde Graduate Business School as a member of and finally managing the in-company consulting and leadership development team. This change allowed Robert to combine his previous ‘hands-on’ experience with his academic training to support the development of individuals and enterprises. For the next 13 years Robert joined the fast growing Hi-Tech sector in HR, Organisation Development and Leadership Development roles. In 1998 Robert received the Presidents’ Award from Bob Galvin the Chairman of Motorola Inc. for his contribution to executive development.
Robert founded rhIntegrity to guide and support individuals and enterprises embarking on or engaged in renewal, transition and change. With Mark Bell Robert created the re-find the future ™ approach to leadership, organisational and personal renewal
Robert’s coaching and organisational development assignments include UK, France, Germany, Italy and Israel. Sectors include: financial services, banking, electronics, manufacturing, legal, government, telecomm, building services, and education. Robert also contributes time and energy to community building initiatives and community leaders who are committed to making a difference.
Robert combines a passion for road cycling,-mountain biking and learning with a wide a range of interests and pursuits.

Rod Liddon
1940 - 2005
On April 15th 2005 our long time supporter, instructor and dear, dear friend, Rod Liddon, passed away at home with his family after some months of suffering. Rod has been a powerful part of Columba 1400 for many years. We have had the privilege of working closely with him and we feel the loss keenly. Rod’s integrity, clarity of thought and incredible and enduring sense of purpose had a profound impact. He touched the lives of so many people both through his work with Columba 1400 and through his wider role within the community. Rod has contributed more than most are able to in a lifetime, as a distinguished soldier in his earlier life and as a crofter, activist and instructor. He will be sorely missed.
The thoughts and prayers of the Columban team and Board are with Rod’s family.
The many kind emails and letters which poured in from those whose lives Rod had touched are a testament to the effect he had on so many people.
