“I knew the effect was going to be good, but never knew it would be superb.”
- Principal describing the impact of the Ambassadors' Academy on her school
Gill McLeod
Business/Programme Developer
Originally from Swaziland, Gill completed a diploma in Fashion Design in Stellenbosch, South Africa, before moving to the UK in June 2001. One year in the lights and buzz of London was enough for this country girl and Gill moved to Scotland in August 2002 to accept the challenge of getting involved in the overall growth of Columba 1400.
Shortly after becoming a Columban Graduate, Gill began to develop her own skills as a member of the programme team and has spent particular time practising her skills as a facilitator and coach. Every moment at Columba 1400 has been an exciting and inspiring learning experience for Gill and three extraordinary years has led her to take on the challenge of a degree in Psychology which she will begin in August 2006. Gill hopes to combine her studies with what has become such an important part of her life at Columba 1400.
Africa has a special place in Gill’s heart, and one day she hopes to share what she has learned in Scotland with her native land.
Gill is primarily based in Columba's Edinburgh office.
