Nicola Richards

Chief Executive

Nicola joined Columba 1400 in June 2004 on secondment from the Scottish Executive. Nicola has worked in the Executive on community regeneration and illegal drugs policy.  She ran a funding programme for Lloyds TSB Foundation for developing services for young people affected by drugs and alcohol misuse. 

Before joining the Executive, Nicola lived and worked in Manchester where she completed a Ph.D. in history and politics and worked as a lecturer and research fellow.  Here she developed an affection (affliction?) for Manchester City Football Club.

Nicola is primarily based in Edinburgh
