Centre Leader
The Board were delighted to welcome Stevie as our Centre Leader in Staffin in September 2005. This appointment followed highly successful years as Senior Programme Director for Columba 1400 since January 2003. Stevie came to Columba having successfully developed the role of Project Manager with the Greater Easterhouse Development Company in Glasgow. Stevie brought with him unrivalled experience in the field of personnel and community development work of over 20 years standing.
Stevie left school at an early age but returned as an adult learner and at 26 obtained both an HNC & HND in Leisure Management. This fuelled an enormous appetite for learning that led him into both studies in Sociology and Psychology.
Stevie would say "All we need to do is continually devlop ourselves and that allows us to serve the world best. All we need is within us and the attitude we agree to have allows us to be more or less than we truly are"
Stevie now lives on the Isle of Skye with his wife Geraldine, daughter Danielle and son Christopher. Stevies eldest (Stevie Jnr) works and lives in Glasgow.
Stevie is primarily based out of the Centre in Staffin, Skye.
